This kit contains the pattern and chart as well worsted yarn made from the fleece of our alpacas. The pattern is my design. It uses size 6 and 7 needles and is knit in the round.

For 3 color kits:
Yarn skeins are 75 yd each color
For dyed kits the yarn is hand dyed using acid dyes
For undyed kits the yarn is the natural color of the alpacas

Dyed color combinations:
Worsted Periwinkle/Avacado
Worsted Sapphire/Spruce
Worsted Wedgewood/Green Smoke
Worsted Cornflower/Kiwi

For 2 color undyed kits:
150 yd of background color and 75 yd of alpaca color
The yarn is undyed. The color is the color of the alpaca

This yarn makes a hat with 18”-22” circumference.

All of our mill spin yarn has been ‘dehaired’. Dehairing alpaca yarn involves removing coarse guard hairs from the fiber, resulting in enhanced overall softness making it more comfortable against the skin.
